Planning, Environment and Water Advisory Committee

That the minutes from the March 2, 2021 Meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee be approved.

1. THAT the Planning Advisory Committee receive the staff presentation Shaping Guelph – Growth Management Strategy Growth Scenarios. 2. THAT the Planning Advisory Committee members provide comments relating to the following growth scenario workshop questions for consideration by staff and Council. a. What are your thoughts on the proposed growth scenario evaluation framework? b. What criteria may be missing from the proposed growth scenario evaluation framework that is essential to inform the selection of a preferred growth scenario? c. Which growth scenario do you prefer and why? d. What do you think works well for each growth scenario? e. What challenges are there with each growth scenario that should be further considered? f. Are there areas identified on the proposed urban structure that should not be considered a strategic growth area? g. Are there areas of the city that should be considered a strategic growth area that are not currently proposed?
