Arts and Culture Advisory Committee Minutes: February 26, 2026 -1 1. That the minutes from the November 27, 2025 meeting of the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee, be approved.

1. That the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee receive the staff report titled Art in Real Life (Art IRL) – Program Proposal. 2. That the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee recommend that: o The language in the “quality of expression of interest” highlight the new focus on what it means to work with time, place and people o Staff consider ways of embedding art and/or the artist within City processes o Recognizing the importance of locating art downtown, staff also consider ways to bring art to spaces outside of the downtown region and to bring people to the art o Staff should examine the quantitative economic benefits of this project on the downtown area as to support the future longevity of the Art IRL project o Staff examine the Culture, Arts, Heritage and Sport Economic Impact Model and apply it to the success and impact of Art IRL
