Arts and Culture Advisory Committee

1. That the minutes from the May 28, 2026, meeting of the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee, be approved.

1. That the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee support the staff report titled 'Friends of the Guelph Public Library Public Art Donation Proposal'. 2. That the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee provide the following comments to staff regarding the proposed public artwork commission by the Friends of the Guelph Public Library for the new Central Library: o Consider timelines for the call for proposals and providing enough time for artists engagement o That staff return to the ACAC to provide an update on the call for proposals o That the ACAC expresses immense gratitude to the Friends of the Guelph Public Library for the donation of this public artwork

1. That the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee support the staff report titled 'Guelph Public Library Board Public Art Donation Proposal'. 2. That the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee provide the following comments to staff regarding the proposed public artwork commission by the Guelph Public Library Board for the new Central Library: o Consider launching both call for proposals simultaneously o That staff return to the ACAC to provide an update on the call for proposals o Consider a save the date approach throughout the summer prior to the formal call for proposals being released in the fall o Consider the reach (as wide as possible) for the call for proposals
